Privacy Policy
RELICSxyz Inc. ("RELICS", "we", "us") operates the relics.xyz website (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this Site, not to third-party games, platforms or websites where our products appear.
Section 1: What We Collect
Information you send us
The Site has no user accounts and sells nothing directly. The information we receive from you is what you choose to send: when you contact us through a form on the Site or by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include (typically a name, role, organization, links and a message). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you send us.
Technical information
Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically processes basic technical data when you visit (such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) in server logs used for security, reliability and operating the Site.
Analytics
We measure how the Site is used with Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service run by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. When you view a page it records the page, the site that referred you, your country, and your device, browser and operating system type. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address, and identifies a visit only by a hash that is discarded within a day, so visits cannot be linked to you or followed across sites. We see this data only in aggregate and use it to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from.
Cookies
The Site does not currently set cookies, and we do not use advertising trackers or targeting technologies. If a future feature requires storing anything in your browser (for example, a saved preference), it will be functional only, and we will update this policy accordingly.
Section 2: How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: (a) respond to your messages and evaluate potential partnerships or opportunities you raise; (b) operate, secure and improve the Site; (c) comply with legal obligations; and (d) enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Section 3: When We Share Information
We share personal information only: (a) with service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting and email, and who may process it solely to provide those services; (b) when required to comply with law, legal process or enforceable governmental requests, or to protect the rights, property or safety of RELICS, our users or others; and (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Section 4: Third-Party Platforms
Our products are made available inside third-party games and platforms. Anything you do there, including creating accounts and making purchases, is governed by that platform's own privacy policy and terms, not by this policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any platform you use.
Section 5: Children
This Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Section 6: Data Retention and Security
We keep correspondence and related information for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and delete it on request where we are able. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 7: International Transfers
RELICS is based in Canada, and our service providers may store and process information in Canada, the United States and other countries where they operate. By sending us information, you consent to its transfer to and processing in those jurisdictions.
Section 8: Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw any consent you have given us, by contacting [email protected]. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the rights provided by applicable data protection law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; we process your information to respond to your requests and to pursue the legitimate interests described above.
Section 9: Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Use of information we collect is subject to the policy in effect at the time of collection.
